Characteristics
Taxus baccata is called venijnboom in Dutch because of its poisonous parts. It is an evergreen conifer with glossy, soft, green needles. Taxus baccata likes a position in full sun as well as in full shade. It is fairly ph flexible and does well in slightly acidic to calcareous soils, but does not like wet feet. Taxus baccata is hardy, fairly drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and air pollution and has few problems with diseases. This tree is long-lived, slow-growing, tolerates pruning very well and is very suitable as an evergreen hedge.

Care
Taxus Baccata is a very simple plant to care for. Treatment against diseases is not necessary, because there are few or none. However, there are a few things to pay attention to so that your Taxus Baccata would feel good;
